What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — such as your preferences or whether you've accepted our cookie notice. They're commonly used to make websites work properly and to help site owners understand how their pages are used.
Synaptik uses cookies on this website for basic functionality and, with your consent, for analytics purposes.
Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies Always active
Required for the website to function. They include your cookie consent preference stored in local storage. These cannot be disabled.
Examples: Cookie consent state · Session security
Analytics Cookies Optional
Help us understand how visitors use the site — which pages are visited, how long people stay, and where they arrive from. Data is aggregated and used only to improve our site.
Examples: Google Analytics · Page view tracking
Marketing Cookies Optional
Used to measure the effectiveness of any advertising we run and to show relevant content on other platforms. We do not currently serve ads on this site.
Examples: Ad conversion tracking · Retargeting pixels
Preference Cookies Optional
Allow the website to remember choices you've made — such as language or display settings — so you don't need to reconfigure them on each visit.
Examples: Language selection · Region settings
Third-Party Cookies
Some features of our website may involve third-party services that set their own cookies:
- Google Analytics — page view and usage analytics (requires analytics consent)
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel — conversion tracking if advertising is active (requires marketing consent)
- Bing Ads UET — ad performance tracking if advertising is active (requires marketing consent)
These third-party cookies are only active if you have given consent for the relevant category. Third-party services have their own privacy policies which we encourage you to review.
Cookie Duration
- Session cookies: exist only while your browser is open and are deleted when you close it
- Persistent cookies: remain on your device for a set period. Analytics cookies typically expire after 13 months; marketing tracking cookies vary by platform (typically 30–90 days)
- Local storage items: your cookie consent preference is stored in your browser's local storage without an expiry date and can be cleared at any time via browser settings or the controls on this page
